Shall we keep it short and sweet today? I mean it’s the Friday before a long weekend, so we are all just counting down the SECONDS until 5pm right? Right.

SUMMER MAXI LOVE

Summer Maxis. I just freaking LOVE them. They are so easy to wear but make you look so put together. They are breezy for the hot summer weather. They are versatile and can easily be dressed up or down and go from day to night. Seriously, they’re the best. I definitely need a few more in my rotation because just writing this now convinced me again about how they are the perfect wardrobe piece. And the variety! Never gets old. WEEKEND PLANS

The hubs and I officially failed with this long holiday weekend. I just decided this week I was going to take Monday and Wednesday off and thinking that we would have family commitments for the fourth we made absolutely no plans. Well, it’s Friday, there are no family plans and we CANNOT let this long beautiful weekend pass us by.

So we are going to do some last minute brainstorming/googling and see if we can’t find a sweet place to stay at a beach for a few days to get away and relax just the two of us. Being in Florida there are so many beautiful beaches not far away and I think we often don’t take advantage of it like we should. So I’m hoping for a airbnb or tripadvisor miracle, a little R&R, and maybe some smores for the 4th (because it’s not the 4th of July without them right?!).
