BEACH BEAUTY ESSENTIALS
KRISTIN ESS LEAVE IN CONDITIONER
Sweet baby angel, leave in conditioner. Swimming in a pool all day, the ocean, the sun does a NUMBER on my strands. I’m already in a dire situation with needing a trim, so I need all the help I can get. Since I have long/thick hair to the extreme, I avoid washing my hair as much as common decency allows me to. Right after a wash and in between this leave in condition saved my strands and made them much easier to manage. Apply on wet hair and save yo strands. And it doesn’t hurt that this smells SO GOOD.
IT COSMETICS MOISTURIZER
Generally, I have pretty mild skin…..borderline oily. When I’ve spent hours in the sun however, even with SPF, my skin is feeling a little like every girl feels about Ryan Gosling…. THIRSTY. Enter stage left, this IT cosmetics moisturizer to the rescue. The scent is pretty neutral, it’s a good consistency that never feels too heavy, and leaves my skin looking and feeling FRESH. I applied nightly after washing my face so that my face was ready for more vitamin d every morning.
EVIAN FACIAL SPRAY
Ok, so I had heard about this spray for YEARS before I actually ever tried it. And I know what you’re thinking, “isn’t Evian a water bottle?”. The answer is yes, but also this facial spray that will change yo life. In between sun sessions and especially at night, I “misted” myself with this magic spray and it made my tight/dry skin feel so refreshed like I’d just gotten a facial. This spray is also perfect for after a flight to quickly rehydrate your skin and give you the freshness that I always need after a flight. It literally takes 5 seconds to indulge your skin with this and for my life at the beach it was a crucial necessity for hydration.
Overall I’m super low maintenance when it comes to my beach beauty routine, so these three picks were the perfect, cheap, and easy necessities to keep some sort of beauty routine going at the beach. My main focus at the beach was staying hydrated (in all the ways) and these products were crucial during the trip.
What else would you consider an essential for your beach beauty routine?
XO,
JESS
