In Florida the weather is HOT, HOT, HOT (I nearly get drenched in sweat walking from the office to my car) and I am dreaming of a tropical getaway. Thankfully I have a family beach trip right around the corner that I may or may not be counting down the days for. In preparation for my sunnier days lying on a beach (book AND drink in hand), I’ve got my eye on a few pieces that would make for the best beach trip. Giving you my Summer Lovin’ round up today of the best pieces you definitely need for summer, and the things I may or may not have in shopping carts all across the interwebs 😉

SWIM SUITS
Although I’m pretty stocked up on swimsuits from my mini-moon in November, I’ve recently had my eye on a few that I can’t seem to get over. I love the high waist on the first one and I’m totally a fan of the vertical stripe craze right now. Question is, one-piece or two?

BAGS
If we are being honest, I’ve been in need of a new beach bag for years, and I love the colors and tassles that are staying around this season. The structure and size of these make them perfect for beach needs: a towel, good book and some SPF.

HATS
I am a sucker for a good hat and summer and the beach gives me the perfect time to stock up. Plus they are very practical to hide under when you’ve gotten a little too much fun in the sun. I seriously want ALL of these hats, each one is so unique but I’m wondering if I’d feel silly in a BABE hat…..thoughts?
SANDALS
Though once a rainbow flip flop girl, I’ve come a long way since then and now I adore all the variety of sandals. Slip ons are low maintenance but still stylish, flat espradrilles are perfect for biking along the beach, and for dinner and drinks a low heel with a pop of color cant be beat.
What are some summer items you’ve had your eye on? Do I need to add a few more items to my cart? Comment below and I’ll check it out!
