If you’re like me and my hubs, this Valentine’s Day will be spent in the cozy confines of our home, and we couldn’t be happier about it. With our newest valentine and her early curfew, things will be a little different year and a nice meal in sounds like the perfect scenario for all. Staying in and looking for something special to make? Check out some dishes from the archives that would make a great Valentine’s dinner whether its you and your sweetie or your best gal pal and you celebrating some self LOVE.
VODKA PASTA
Whether you’re zoodling or real noodling, vodka pasta makes a delicious meal for your saucy night (get it?!).
STUFFED CHICKEN AND RISOTTO
As soon as Mama’s cooktop is working I am making this again. Wonderfully indulgent tasting but still full of all the good things and a WAY healthier version of stuffed chicken. Feels fancy, still pretty easy, I SAY DO IT.
KALE PESTO PASTA
This dish is really all about the POWER DUO of the chickpea pasta and superfood pesto packed with kale, spinach and all the yumminess. It’s pretty romantic how those to work together in this dish no?!
TURKEY TACOS AND MEXICAN CORN
Feed me tacos and tell me I’m pretty. Enough said.
SOUP AND HEART SAMMIES
That cheese pull will BREAK HEARTS. Use cookie cutters to cut the sandwiches into hearts and you’ve got the most adorable Valentine’s dinner that’ll you’ll have to send me a pic.
STEAKS AND KALE CAESAR SALAD
A sophisticated Caesar for your sophisticated life (fake it till you make it baby). Would pair amazing with a great steak and some red wine and now I’m starving.
Much love to you all on this Valentine’s Day.
